History:-

World Health Day has marked a long-lasting legacy by taking international health initiatives. After the end of World War II, it was first announced by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 1950. The purpose for that time to announce World Health Day is to understand the need of the body to look after the health issue.

The main criteria for establishing the WHO are to address all the major health issues and to work independently without any interference from the Government. To honour the Global health body, they announce World Health Day on 7 April.
